You will learn how fires start and spread, how to carry out routine checks that stop problems before they begin, and the warden's duties when the alarm goes: sweeping your area, assisting others, using escape routes correctly and reporting at the assembly point. We also cover fire extinguisher basics and the legal framework that underpins the role.
