Working at height is the leading cause of workplace fatalities in the UK, and the law is clear: work at height must be properly planned, supervised and carried out by competent people. This course gives you the knowledge to meet that standard and get home safe.

You will learn what counts as working at height, how the Work at Height Regulations apply to you, and how to follow the hierarchy of controls, avoiding work at height where possible, preventing falls where it is not, and minimising the consequences if a fall does occur. We cover planning and risk assessment, selecting the right equipment for the task, and the checks and safe practices that apply to it.
